How will the study of math at the university level differ from study at the high school level?
The pace of a college calculus class, for example, is more than twice that of a typical high school calculus course. Exam questions are often different from any that were discussed in class or covered in homework. A much higher percentage of learning takes place outside the classroom. Students are expected to take charge of their own learning, using the professor as an important resource.
