How will the Singapore Igors differ from the restaurant that operated in Hong Kong?
LENZ: The Igor’s in Singapore is 17,000 sq ft and has been a complete logistical nightmare as we moved the complete interior from Hong Kong and we’re also getting more features made. In Hong Kong, the entry foyer was designed to relax people, but in Singapore it will be a full-blown haunted house. A key team of people from Hong Kong Igor’s will be going to Singapore also, so they have the experience to make it work from day one. The actors we have now also aren’t amateurs. They are professionals, like the team that we had at the end of Igor’s [in Hong Kong] who will be going to Singapore. This will give more credibility to the show. We want to launch a new show every three months and hope that gives us longevity and widens our market share. The shows will also be less risqu as I think some of that stuff came because of the lack of talent.
