How will the selection of drains and water pipes be conducted?
There are 47 water pipe projects that have been prioritized by the Moraga-Orinda Fire District for funding in Measure E. That list is available in the Infrastructure Committee Final Report, Appendix E and can be found at www.ci.orinda.ca.us . The drain repairs have also been prioritized with the focus on storm drains in danger of collapse and other old drains that exists under roads that are to be repaired. This list can be found in the Infrastructure Committee Final Report, Appendix D and can also be found at www.ci.orinda.ca.us. The drainage and water pipe repairs will be coordinated with road repairs so that drains and pipes are fixed first, before the roads above them are repaved.
