How Will the Secretariat be Funded?
It is expected that the costs of operating the Secretariat will be covered by the host country, supplemented by earmarked donor funds and proceeds from the endowment. Once the endowment is funded to the initial $260 million level it is anticipated that a maximum of 10% of the proceeds will go to supporting the operational costs of the Trust.
