How will the scoring criteria be evaluated consistently across different panels?
The Division believes that criteria-based scoring is important to ensuring the fair and unbiased review of submitted applications regardless of budget size, geographic region, and target audiences. Panelists are individuals with professional knowledge in the program, type or discipline being reviewed. Panelists will rank applications according to criteria, and the same criteria will be used for each panel. Panelist education will be an important consideration for the Division as consistency in the application of scoring criteria will be an integral part of maintaining a fair review process. We encourage you to help with this important part of the process by nominating panelists.
