How will the sale of the school’s existing campus affect students, staff and faculty members?
Short-term effects will be minor. Portions of the campus will be leased back so the school’s educational and research programs will continue largely unchanged. Depending on how the sale is transacted-whether, for example, the campus is sold in parts or in its entirety-classrooms, labs, and office spaces may be moved or reconfigured. In the longer-term, details about the school’s transition to the South Waterfront will emerge as OHSU’s plans for the Schnitzer Campus are firmed up.
