How will the RoHS Recast affect me?
The consolidated text of the RoHS Recast has been adopted by the European Commission but is still subject to further process including confirmation by the European Parliament prior to final publication in the OJEC. The National Measurement Office is responsible for enforcing the implemented RoHS Regulations only and is not directly involved in this process. Therefore we can only provide advice and guidance on the future implementation based on the most up to date information we have at the time. Policy questions should be directed to BIS / the European Commission.
