How will the Revenue determine the facts after the contract has finished? Will past contracts be looked at?
The Revenue have stated that a review of the facts will be undertaken in the same way as for all employment status work (and we know from experience how shallow and biased this can be). This will include going back and looking at past contracts if appropriate. Our view is why wait, get clearance before the contract has expired if you are not sure.
