How will the restructuring improve the student experience?
Our student experience is already one of the best in the UK and we will not allow that to suffer. A Student Experience Working Group was established to ensure that the student experience did not suffer during the transition. In addition, ensuring a positive student experience will one of the key aims of the Dean of Learning and Teaching and the Dean of Graduate Studies in each new college. We believe that we can improve the postgraduate student experience; although we currently proved a good experience, we believe we can do better. The Graduate Schools will be tasked with leading this and developing policies and practices that promote a thriving and highly engaged community of graduate students.
