How will the registration process for the beta test work?
Beta invitees will be sent an email with a unique code to install the game, a unique code for creating an online account to test the game, instructions on where to download the client, instructions on how to install and play the game, and instructions on how to provide feedback. Beta recruits will also be asked to create a Sega.com account and to save their unique beta code to receive exclusive Universe at War in-game content when the game launches.
If you pre-order LOTR BFME II from a participating online retailer or the EA online store, it is the responsibility for the retailer to email your 20-digit registration/install code along with a special beta test URL www.bfme2.ea.com/beta where you will follow the registration instructions. Additionally, any individuals who pre-order LOTR BFME II at a participating retailer store, the retailer will be responsible for providing a unique 20-digit registration/install code at the time you pre-order. You should receive this code when you pre-order the game so make sure to ask for it. Once you have the code, you can visit www.bfme2.ea.com/beta to register for the beta test.
