How will the ranking of the institutes be done?
• In fact there is no ranking done by GSDM. The portal just aggregates following figures in an objective and verifiable manner and provides a facility to user to sort the list on them. • Placement-percentage • Average Salary of the employed candidates • Employability index: It is nothing but the product of the above two. In other words it is the average salary including even those who did not get placement. • Total number of positive feedbacks. This feedback is the count of responses sent by the customers of self employed candidates. • It may kindly be noted that, a candidate will be treated as placed if he is either formally or informally employed or went for higher studies. The self employed candidates, even if they are gainfully employed, will not be taken into account for placement percentage.
