How will the proposed development address the anti-social problems at the Coogee Bay Hotel?
All of the three design options would reduce the licensed premises area and would transform the pub space into a more friendly space. This would play a major role in addressing the anti-social problems associated with the Hotel. The original concept and alternative concept A would reduce the licensed hotel space by around 35 – 40% while alternative concept B would entirely remove the current pub although some licensed uses could be retained on the Arden Street frontage.
