How will the proposed changes affect the student experience?
One of the fundamental goals of the graduate education restructuring is to improve the student experience. As part of this effort, one of the work groups was charged specifically to identify optimal graduate student administrative processes. Another work group examined graduate student advising. The end result will be an efficient, effective, and user-friendly provision of services and support to students that is a model in higher education.
