How will the pipeline benefit Oregon and the Pacific Northwest?
A. The pipeline will deliver clean, reliable natural gas to utility customers in Oregon and other western states. It will provide utilities with the natural gas capacity to service growing areas, such as Yamhill, Cove Orchard, Gaston, and Carlton, among others across the state. And it will provide a less expensive option for delivering increased gas flows to the Salem area. As the state’s population grows, the pipeline will deliver the natural gas to meet the growing demand.
