How will the Pennsylvania booster seat law affect out-of-state travelers?
My son and his family live in Virginia. Under Virginia law, my 6-year-old grandson no longer has to be placed in a booster seat when secured with a seat belt. If for some reason my son is pulled over by the Pennsylvania State Police and he notices my grandson not secured in a booster seat, will my son be cited? Or will the state trooper, seeing my son’s Virginia license, honor Virginia law and not issue him a citation? JOHN S.
