How will the payment of filing fees be handled?
Our financial staff in conjunction with our Clerk of Court is currently in the process of setting up the financial procedures necessary to implement payment by credit card. CM/ECF is currently being revised so that fees could actually be paid on-line by credit card in the same manner that one currently purchases a product over the Internet. We hope that this revision will be available prior our August 1, 2002 live ECF date, but there are still details to be worked out between the Administrative Office of the Courts and the US Treasury Department.
