How will the partnership benefit the Kent school?
Globalisation and global issues are becoming an increasing part of children’s lives. UK society is enhanced by cultures, languages and arts from all over the world. The Surin Village School Charity develops the global dimension into the school curriculum and encourages the understanding of developing countries’ cultures. Students will be able to gain a sense of responsibility and satisfaction and the school will be recognised as actively helping children in developing nations where 72 million primary school age children remain out of school. Seven out of ten of these children live in sub-Saharan Africa or South and West Asia.
