How will the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico impact BPs image?
British Petroleum has suffered quite a blow to its image with the enormous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. As the uncontrolled flow of oil continues to spew into the waters of the Gulf almost 90 days after the original explosion killed 11 workers, the pollution continues. A History of Reckless Safety Precautions… Although the general public was unaware until recently, BP has been cited numerous times in the past few years for violations to normal safety procedures on a number of projects sanctioned by the United States government. Sadly, it has taken a disaster of major proportions to bring attention to the normal business practices of this oil giant.
