How will the new album “Pale”, that should be released this fall, be different from Silver Smiles?

Joshua- “Pale”, due out in late September or early October, is much different than Silver Smiles. Actually, it was written before Silver Smiles, except for “Worlds Away”, which was written earlier, and “Devotion”, which was actually cut from the Pale track list because it didn’t fit stylistically. Silver Smiles was in many ways a very experimental album for me, with a lot of the writing and arrangement actually being done in the studio during the recording sessions. Pale is already written and demoed, and more or less just has to be re-recorded in the studio, which I’m in the process of right now. It is also very different stylistically, taking on a much more ethereal sound similar to Faith/Pornography-era Cure, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, and Dead Can Dance. I guess it is also more coherent in terms of the overall flow of the album. It is a very emotional album, perfect for an autumn evening. 4) Gothgirl- What kind of airplay are you getting? What stations can we hear Fornever? Joshua
