If an NPS employs special education teachers who do not hold either a valid California special education credential or a valid CCTC Education Specialist Internship Credential for no more than three years, the CDE may grant the NPS a “conditional” renewal certification after the NPS has submitted an action plan for becoming fully compliant by the end of the 2006-07 school year.
