How will the National Guard effect my civilian job?
Your enlistment with the Ohio National Guard should not effect your civilian employment. There are Federal Laws in place which prevent employers from terminating an employee because they are a National Guard member. In addition, if you are called to active service, your employer is required by law to allow you to return to the same job you had when you left. The Ohio National Guard can assist you if you are having a problem with your employer.
