How Will the National Archives Respond?
• We will immediately reply to your e-mail, confirming that we received your communication. • You will receive a substantive reply to comments, suggestions, compliments, and complaints within seven working days of receipt of your communication. • Responses to general inquiries concerning records in our legal custody can usually be provided within 10 working days after receipt by the reference unit. Responses to more complex inquiries will require additional time to prepare depending on the nature of the request.
