How will the KEH Project benefit communities through which it passes?
There are multiple benefits for local communities along OGS’ route. Hopkins County will benefit from the taxes on the KEH Project facilities. During the permitting, construction, and operations phases, new jobs will be brought to local communities and local businesses will benefit from increased commerce. And ultimately, the pipeline will benefit communities by enhancing natural gas delivery capability to residents and businesses. The KEH project will enhance Kentucky’s energy infrastructure adding value to other gas related developments such as gas supply exploration and coal-to-gas conversion projects.
