How will the increase in traffic to the site affect the nature that thrives in the surrounding Brick Works Park and the Lower Don?
Although Evergreen’s role is limited to the industrial pad (the 12.1 acres of industrial land, which include the buildings), in 2007 Evergreen commissioned the Planning Partnership to develop a Natural Heritage Impact Study and Enhancement Strategy (NHIS) which assesses the potential impact of increased traffic in the park and the Lower Don. The report examines the current wildlife use of the site and recommends strategies for protecting and conserving habitat and wildlife pathways.
