There will be minimal impacts on LDB display prices related to the HST. The LDB has been directed to increase its product mark-ups by an amount to off set the reduction in sales tax associated with the HST in order to maintain the LDB display price. Any signifi cant changes to prices that occur on July 1 will be related to supplier price changes, not the HST implementation.
