How will the Government ensure the security of the RC Content list?
The Government will allocate funds to the ACMA to provide for the machine-to-machine transfer of the encrypted list of RC-rated content used for filtering. This will both enhance security of its contents and streamline transmission. In addition, where ISPs receive a filtered wholesale or re-sold service, this will reduce the number of ISPs to whom the RC Content list is distributed.
