How will the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) be implemented in the new structure?
Program activities for girls will be conducted at the council, regional and local levels. Regional GSLE Program Committees will coordinate regional program activities and local activities carried out by community volunteers. Volunteers may plan local program activities for girls in their community. Events or activities that do not fill available capacity may be open to Girl Scouts from other communities at the discretion of the Regional GSLE Program Committee. The Regional GSLE Program Committee will work in conjunction with council staff to develop models of successful program activities that can be replicated in local communities by community volunteers. The council will provide program registration and coordinate program calendars for all program events/activities that occur in the council.
