How will the final payment calculation be reflected?
The OPPS Pricer will return the line item APC pricing and outlier information used in the final payment calculation. The provider’s remittance advice and beneficiary’s explanation of benefits (EOB) will reflect this information. Services that are not reimbursed using OPPS will be reimbursed using existing TRICARE reimbursement methodologies and will be reflected on the remittance advice or explanation of benefits with the OPPS reimbursed services.
