One of the aims of the CELTA Course online is to provide increased flexibility to centres and course participants for the delivery of CELTA training by reducing the amount of time course participants and tutors meet at the centre. The teaching practice and related preparation, feedback and self-evaluation will continue to take place at the centre through face-to-face contact. Requirements for the Teaching Practice groups will be as they are currently in respect of levels taught, numbers of TP students, range of lesson types, number of times candidates teach, length of lessons (i.e. minimum 2 x 40 minutes and not longer than 1 hour) etc. Teaching practice will be arranged by the centre either throughout the course or in blocks. These blocks will have restrictions in terms of how intensive they can be and in terms of when they start and finish in relation to the online material.
