How will the expansion affect traffic noise levels along the corridor?
The Town anticipates that no significant impacts to noise levels would result from this project. Due to the nature of the project adding the new lanes to the center median, any additional traffic will be as far as possible from adjacent properties. Landscaping planned for the project should provide noise mitigation.
