How will the DLN change existing training and professional development programs?
The DLN provides another tool for extending the reach of existing programs students weren’t capable of reaching before. For example, the Land Forces Command and Staff College has been limited in the number of students it could course load because of plant capacity. By converting a six-week portion of this course to self-paced, on-line training, it was able to reduce the residency part enough to enable all its captains to take this course.
