How will the district use the money if the voters say yes?
We believe that our teachers are the most important asset to serve and provide the educational needs for our kids. 80% of the total amount will be used to attract and retain teaching staff, provide an additional 60 to 70 teachers to address class size issues, and provide additional highly qualified teachers in the areas of math, science, reading, writing and technology. 20% of the total amount will be used to provide additional resources such updated technology in classrooms, safety and security improvements in all schools, plus continued maintenance of existing buildings as our student population continues to grow.
