How will the Debt Management Program affect my credit report and score?
The program is intended for people who are behind on their bills and in danger of bankruptcy. CCCSA, Inc. does not report to the credit bureau, however, your creditors do!  Participation in the DMP may affect your credit report either favorably or unfavorably according to your creditor s policies with respect to the DMP and your payment history prior to and during the program. Scores are more difficult to predict but will probably be affected negatively until accounts are paid off and the program is complete.    Making your full payments and catching up any past due amounts is the ONLY way to protect your credit score.
