How will the data interface to the general ledger?
What will the “source” code be? The Source Code is used for all journal entries fed into UCRFS to identify the originator (department) of the journal’s feeder system. PHP = Physical Plant FLT = Fleet PRO = Procard Cost Transfer • How often will the data uploads occur? How will the data be summarized for presentation on the general ledger? • How will details of the transactions be made available to the units reviewing data on the general ledger? How will the system utilize the campus FAU (full accounting unit) chartfield values? The FAU Combination edit check MUST be utilized. Before creating a feeder file the journal lines must each run through an FAU Combination check to ensure the FAU is valid. In order for this process to function properly a few steps must be followed. Call the WebService that provides the FAU Check via HTTP. Specify the input parameters (Activity,Fund,Function,Account,CostCenter,ProjectCode,SourceCode,XML).
