How will the current economic environment impact B2B sales?
This was selected as Best Answer Robert, I assume you mean B2B in manufacturing. And the current climate is bad, but there is perhaps some hope for the future. So in general: For relationships already in place there will be lower volumes ordered. Or the quantities may stay the same and be taken over a longer time frame (this may or may not be disclosed up front). For new sales expect a very tough road. People will be sitting on the fence waiting to see what happens. Moving existing work to new suppliers will take a significant cost savings. New work or new projects will be susceptible to delays. In both cases expect that orders will be placed only when absolutely needed, so lead times will be short.
