How will the CPAC implementation affect current billing functions?
Each VAMC will maintain ownership of key veteran-facing revenue cycle functions and will continue to provide these services using medical center staff. Responsibility for the remaining revenue cycle processes will be transferred to the assigned CPAC, which will provide these services using a combination of CPAC-employed staff, both on-site at the medical center and at the consolidated processing center, depending on function.
