How will the CMHC be notified of PA approval/denial? Will the individual provider or the agency be notified?
The same process will hold true as it does today for PA approvals and denials. All FFS PA letters, which are generated and mailed by HP as soon as the decision is made, are sent to the member and the specific default location of the requesting provider. Providers may also view PA decisions through Web interChange.
