How will the changes impact farmers or ranchers?
Some commercial uses, like a veterinarian office, would benefit ranchers and farmers. At the same time, nothing about re-zoning or the improvements to the properties will keep farmers or ranchers from farming and ranching. Commercial uses have coexisted at that spot with farming for 90 years without any problems. The same can be said for virtually all of our small towns, farming and the small commercial have lived together for a very long time. Besides, this is a “right to farm” state, if somebody grumbles; you have a right to keep on farming! Nothing agricultural is going to change. The same is true for the Rural. That zoning allows people to farm, nothing about it is going to keep others from doing the same.
