How will the boats perform in harsh sea conditions?
Our boats were originally built for the unpredictable waters around Cape Lookout, NC. While the Bateaus were primarily designed for the sounds and marshes, they are often seen near-shore on nice days. The Cape Fisherman models have enough beam and freeboard for the rough waters, inlets and shoals found in our region. All the boats are built tough, and perform extremely well in their intended environments when sea conditions deteriorate.
