How will the Bio-Village affect our ground water and local drinking supply of water?
Water supply for the facility is currently under investigation. Impacts to the local supply of drinking water are being considered, and the source of water for the facility will be chosen to minimize the impact to the local groundwater supply. Site run-off and waste water will be collected in a lined pond and tested to Alberta Environment Guidelines prior to release to the river, to prevent negative impacts to the local water supply.
