How will the automatic sensors, such as occupant and daylight sensors, interact with manual controls, such as wall controls and IR remotes?
The ability to automatically balance input from multiple sensors and controls is a critical advantage for EcoSystem. Facility managers use a simple PDA programmer to define EcoSystem operations, including the desired light level in each mode of operation. The EcoSystem control hierarchy balances multiple inputs to resolve the mode of operation, ensure consistent operation, and generate maximum energy savings. EcoSystem doesn’t allow the last command (such as a change in daylight level) to wipe out all other commands, and doesn’t require anyone to map out and track ballast numbers.
