How will the ASSB and the ASSA affect livestock and the livestock industry?
The ASSB and ASSA will not affect the livestock industry at all, although we expect the number of livestock depredation cases involving domestic dogs to decrease dramatically once citizens know they can trust their local shelter to humanely care for and disposition stray or unwanted animals. When livestock inspectors do want to collaborate with animals shelters they can benefit from the infrastructure created by the Board.
