How will the APEL work affect my award classification?

0

APEL will be recorded as credit on your transcript. It does not normally carry a grade but contributes to the overall credit required for an award. For example 360 credits are normally needed for an honours degree. 120 at certificate, intermediate and honours level. Each module carries 15 credits. Where 2 of the 8 undergraduate modules at intermediate level have been awarded un-graded APEL credit, the degree calculation will be averaged across the remaining taught modules at Intermediate and Honours level. 180 credits are normally required for an MA , MBA or MSc. With APEL and APCL your final degree classification will be made on the basis of an average across the available marks. For further information see the regulations section of the APEL Website: http://www.londonmet.ac.
