How will the AHTPP benefit Wayne State University?
Starting Fall 2002, all students registered in Fall 2001 who have coursework between 1989 and 1997 will have their full academic record verified and uploaded to Wayne State’s BANNER system. This will allow students, advisors, and other administrative staff to view full unofficial transcripts online. By Fall 2003 this will enable us to produce official transcripts more rapidly as all pieces will be coming from a single source. It will allow for automated pre-requisite checking and significantly increase the reporting abilities of university staff. In addition to that, we will have the raw data we need to implement CAPP (Degree Audit) which will significantly increase an Advisor’s ability to help a student with academic choices.
