How will the 40B project Wayland Commons be incorporated into the redeveloped Wayland Business Center?
Wayland Commons is being developed by a different developer. Wayland officials are encouraging Streetscapes and the developer of Wayland Commons to work together to limit the number of curb cuts on Old Sudbury Road (Rt. 27). The Town prefers that the primary entrances to the 40B project be accessed from the proposed by-pass road, rather than have two additional curb cuts for its entrances. Comments: A Wayland resident commented that the Wayland Commons project proposed to remove the hill that the Town Center developer shows in his renderings of the project, which will change the look of the Wayland Business Center redevelopment. She also encourages the two developers to work closer together. Another resident commented that he would like to see the combined impact of the new district and the Wayland Commons project.
