The 1st gear is also very important to consider. If you end up with too low of a 1st gear, the 1st gear could be a nuisance, or worse. The 1st gear ratios are nearly identical between the Richmond 5 and TKO-500, at 3.27 and 3.28 respectively. So this paragraph isn’t really a comparison, but rather an informational section that applies to both transmissions.
