WorkSpace offers advanced support for new features in ASE 15; e.g., graphical query execution plan. In addition, WorkSpace supports many features that make developers more productive: • Non-sharable temp table life cycle support • ASE RTMS (real-time messaging service) support • “Select for XML” and XML-SQL mapping functions wizards • Debugging of stored procedures and triggers WorkSpace contains a powerful GUI, SQL Debugger, that’s capable of external client debugging, viewing/editing tables (including #temp tables) during stored procedure debugging, and miscellaneous ASE server-specific options during procedural object and SQL statement execution.
