How will students from English speaking schools cope with education through Irish?
It is fact that most Gaelcholist in the country are made up of a sizable proportion of students from English speaking primary schools, who have had no difficulty in adapting to education through Irish. Extra intensive help and tutoring will be given to new students for the first few months until such time as they are comfortable in learning primarily through Irish. Studies have shown that students educated bilingually are far better at learning a third language (which they have to do), as well as having better communication skills and overall mental agility.
