How will social responsibility be taught to students? How will online social etiquette be taught to students?
The district believes the school setting is one of the best places to teach responsibility to students. This type of social responsibility is often called “digital citizenship.” Proactive education combined with the technical security specifications of the system will minimize the risks to individual students and school equipment. Examples of digital citizenship which will be addressed include but are not limited to: cyber bullying, inappropriate web sites, online safety, plagiarism, and misuse of the equipment.
