How will security levels impact us during Games-time?
You will experience Games-time security measures if you are: • A spectator • A Games volunteer • Accredited Games personnel • Delivering goods directly into a venue (through the secure perimeter) And only at the venues under secure perimeters: • Whistler Olympic Park • Whistler Athletes Village • Whistler Sliding Centre • Whistler Creekside (base to timing flats) • Whistler Media Centre (Whistler Conference Centre) • Whistler Medals Plaza Games-time security will be similar to the “mag-and-bag” system you experience at an airport. Whistler Village and the rest of the community will feel like a regular season village experience.
